Meet Pride Sharp Photography:-
Peter Sharp

For many years, I have been a keen enthusiast in all things photographic. I have experience working with a wide range of different photographers, gaining skills and also helping others develop their skills too. Mostly, I enjoy photographing heritage sites, vehicles and a range of garden types. I move around the UK photographing many different sites but, being based in North Yorkshire, enjoy photographing (and taking pride in) Yorkshire.

The vast majority of my skills are self-taught, learning through mistakes to be able to find ways in which I personally can create high-quality images. I have qualifications in Introduction to Photography all the way to a Diploma in Photography. In 2018 I was accepted into The Societies of Photographers under The Society of International Travel & Tourism Photographers. Furthermore, I am a certified Climate Aware Photographer and a 'Leave No Trace' Photographer.

I use the Canon 5D range, with the Mark 4 model as well as the original model alongside an extensive range of lenses, filters and general equipment (all shapes, sizes and varieties). I am also open to hiring equipment for specific needs where a customer would benefit greatly.

In order to keep myself updated in the quickly-evolving world of photography, I regularly attend The Photography Show in Birmingham and London, local seminars in different photography conventions and also attended a discovery day run by Canon Photography UK at the Beaulieu Motor Museum in the New Forest Hampshire.

I am an approachable person so please come to me with any questions, queries or requests regarding my business options or, to simply chat all things cameras with me.

Here to Assist Peter with larger events, I can provide a perspective of close-up photography with a careful attention to detail with the images produced - as well as a full range of differing photography. I also produce film photography using 35mm film using a Canon 500 as well as my Canon 2000D DSLR which I use for my everyday shoots. While I may not be seen on the face of Peter's photography adventures, I will be working hard with Peter behind the scenes.
